The sun is coming up at Muscle Cars of Texas! #mcot #yardart
Here at our repair shop we get all sorts of jobs, and sadly it is rare to have to work on such a beauty. You know that cliched saying, “they don’t make them like this anymore”? Well it is absolutely true. Nowadays so many aspects of our cars is electronic and automated with all sorts of sensors. It is high tech and that’s nice, but it is sterile and boring. Chicago Autohaus from way back when are mechanical in all of their features, therefore, these 3 simple car repairs can be a lifesaver and every car owner should know. It’s interesting to think, in a lot of ways that sounds like something that would be far more complicated and with many more moving parts, but it is quite the opposite actually. Looking for a used cars? Autozin used car dealership offers a large selection of used cars and trucks, including domestic and import used cars for sale.
Maybe I’m just falling behind the times, but I just really like getting my hands dirty and working on these types of cars. Back when me and my dad would work on his old clunker, half the time he didn’t know what he was doing. He would just take apart whatever seemed to be wrong, understand how it worked, fixed it, and put it back in. That to me is so much more appealing, and more fun. Plugging in a laptop and having a message on screen tell me what’s wrong sounds like just the worst to me. Gotta get with the times I guess. In the meantime, I work on call mobile mechanic and I get to work on a classic american muscle car, with a big grime and engine oil-covered smile in my face.
If you are still thinking if classic cars are for you, you shouldn’t think any further, there are plenty of reasons to pick over modern cars, first of all, these designs are beautiful in every way and the great thing is that they can be found at the best auto leads, but are shapes that no modern designer would create nowadays—often, the way the metal frame underneath the bodywork used during the prototype stage (and even “bucks” used to shape bodywork) would have a direct influence on the car’s form.
